Thanksgiving, Christmas Tree and pinkie ring

Hi! Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We had "The Acker" family over to our house. Renee' and I hosted it, actually We should say Nee' hosted it! She is really a great host! I am pretty much lazy. Ugh!!! I dont think I got enough green bean casserole!!

On Monday I noticed my pinkie ring was gone. That is the ring that my Poppy and Mammaw gave me for Christmas, one of my favorite things they gave me. Well it made me sad the first time I misplaced it, I found it a year later. Well Renee' found it 2 days later this time.

Poor Elliot had to go over to his meemaw and peepa's house for Thanksgiving since there was so many of us at the house. He likes to bark at everyone. So after everyone went home I went to go pick him up. When I got back to the house Renee' had already dragged out the Christmas tree. Well the house is all decorated for Christmas now.

It looks really pretty! Well I am still picking up leftover garage sale stuff and freecycle it back to everyone that wants it. I had picked up a huge trash bag of toys about a week ago. I had them under the carport. I noticed they werent there anymore last night! I hope whomever got them sure needed them. I hate that I hadn't gotten to look in there, I knew there was all kinds of stuff in there I was goign to check it out tonight or Sunday!! UGH!!

Finally got me a another phone

The camera on the phone seems to take better pics than my other one. I dropped my phone so much on the hardwood floors that it cracked. So i have been using a really old one of mine. I finally got one for $30 off of ebay it is a razor. It is pink and it is MINE!! YAH!!

Weekly Update!

Hi! I guess that is what it will boils down to. I seem to only want to blog once a week. I don't have that much to blog about I guess. Renee' had Tres this last weekend! I guess we are very partical to him but he is REALLY SMART! He already talks in sentences and using I the right way. Like he says I want to eat! Actually he didn't say it he was crying it. He is a little drama boy. But so sweet! I didn't take a picture of him but we went out on Saturday night. Me and him were sitting on a bench. There was 2 benchs together with a chain wrapped around them so they wouldnt go anywhere. he sits on the arms of the 2 bench and says "Horsey"!! Too cute! You would really need to be there to get the full effect! He sings lots of songs Twinkle Twinkle, The barney song and some other ones. Can you tell I am a little partcial to him?

Here is the 2 pics I have of him from this weekend! Nee' sent them to me from her camera phone. Well I do know 18 days until my scrapbook retreat! I hope in a few weeks we will have everything up and running in the scrapbook room. We want to have an "open house".

HELLO!

Hi! I haven't been around in a while. Love to say that I have been real busy but not really. This week I finally found us another table for our scrapbook room and a end table to sit in the corner for the TV on it. The TV is an older one so it is to big to hang on the wall so it would be out of the way of everything. We will have to save money for one of those. I can't see buying a new one and putting it in there (since you only can watch whatever is on in the living room on it or dvd's since we didn't get cable ran in there.) I found the a table (with a leaf) , 4 chairs and the end table for $30 dollars on craigslist.org. I am loving that site a bunch. I am a free fanatic I guess. I catch myself checking it out all the time and seeing if it something that isn't far away from here to go get. Which is never but i check. Most of the time it is posted, the post will tell you it is outside and come get it. Well if it is in Fort Worth that would be an hour or so and I would have to after I am off work. So nope it won't be there because alot of people want free things. I guess my problem is I like to get stuff and give it away. Exspecially if I know someone is in need. I use freecycle yahoo groups also not so much is going on there. Mentioning freecyle Amycole and I went over to Weatherford to pick up about 5 or 6 sets of sheets for a friend of mine. They are king size sheets and those things are huge! I still have a full size bed, what am I talking about I had a twin size until I was 29 or so! That is pitiful huh? Never thought it was important anyway! Don't share my bed with anyone so well! Anyway Amycole and I stopped and ate at Montana last night! I would get in such trouble if that was in my town. i would eat there all the time! I love that place, Chicken tenders and hot mustard! In Rachel Rays words "Yummo"!!!

You ask why I went with Amycole? Where is Renee'? Renee' went to a scrapbook retreat with a family friend Vicki! So she will be back tomorrow afternoon! We have a pampered chef party to attend. At our very good friends house! Can't say I have that many good friends! Thinking about my good friend she would understand this pic and know what Nee' was totally thinking when she sent it to me!!

They weren't her's and she said she was totally taking them with her!! Go figure huh!

I love these cards.. Nee' does great just my opinion.

Monday News!

Hello Everyone in Blog world!

How was your weekend? Mine was just about the same as most. We went and played bingo on Saturday night above pic is Nee' and Amy. We won NO MONEY! Renee' knows how to say BINGO though. She thought they called 51 but it was 41. UGH!!! We then went and ate at Chili's. I will say I don't much care for there food much. UGH on that also.

Yesterday Renee' made roast for lunch, dady and momma came over and ate. She made coconut pie. It was yummy! Well Daddy finally got our shelves hung in the scrapbook room. We started unpacking those boxes. YEA!! Maybe in a few weeks we will have that room up and running.

Today is Renee' 2ND day of substituting!! She doesn't look as nervous in this pic as she did in the one on Thursday. 2ND day and it is with the 2ND graders.. Well GOOD LUCK NEE'!

Look!! Elliot got to go to the bank his Other momma (that is what I call Renee' to him). He is really spolied and when you pull up to the bank he gets in your lap in hopes that they will see him and share there bones with him!! Not much more to chat about!

I am back!!!

I haven't been back on here for 7 days? Not much has happen, I have turned a year older. Renee' was so nice and she made me breakfast! I love waffles and sausage! Yummy!! I went to work and came home!! Renee, mamma and dady went and bought my b-day presents!

I got my glass storm door I wanted, a door bell , spice apples (from cracker barrel) YUMMY! A gift card from Sonic from Amycole and one from Elliot! They help me with me ddpvanilla addictions!!

My sister made me a cake and put all 38 candles on my cake!!

We went to play Bingo!! It was so much fun, we won nothing but a lot of fun!!

Then on Sunday went to church and didn't do much! I didn't have to go to work until 10:00 on Monday (in honor of Dove season opening). I guess I don't have much more to tell you all!! What my one person that reads this my sister!!

If you look down at the bottom there is Elliot's feetprints. Renee' took him out there and he walked all up and down the driveway. YES WE FINALLY GOT OUR 2ND DRIVEWAY. Our visitors won't have to park in the narrow street. YEA!! I hated it for our vistitors. And then Renee' said look what else I did. She wrote our last name, the year and not shown is Elliot name. Oh we will be etched in stone.. I love that! Well that is all for right now!

Good Saturday morning! How are all of my peeps? What my one peep that reads my blog? I woke up about 10 - 15 minutes late this morning. I wasn't going to get to take Elliot out to the potty but he forced himself out side. I was going to have to let hazel out . We are helping out

my best friend Amy's mom. They are taking a 'mini vacation" and the dog gets to go out in the morning and brought back in at night. Anyways Renee' was nice and said that she and Tres would go over there and let her out and etc.

Yes I said Tres he gets to stay the weekend with us. It is Renee' and himself all day today. We will see how they both like that tonight. Tres was lots of fun last night, I use to get sad that I haven't had kids (and I am almost 38, overweight and now prospects) but I am so glad Lisa Ann shares with us and my other friends that share with me!! I.E. Maycee and Lyndon! My cute little red headed kids.

I read an article in the graham leader today. It was titled "BURGLARS MAKE IT EASY ON POLICE"

Graham and Olney police brought a burglary ring to an end this week thanks in large part to a criminal who made it easy.Tommie McAnear, 22, of Olney confessed to burglary and forgery when he was invited to interview for a part-time police dispatcher job with the Olney Police Department.He also implicated his brother, Jeremie McAnear, 29, of Graham in the crimes while he was at it.The two men were arrested and confessed to more than 12 burglaries in the Graham area and three more in Olney. The burglaries began in early June and centered around the downtown area of Graham. The suspects forced entry in most instances and their focus was primarily cash.
The burglarized buildings, some of which were hit twice by the duo, include Oak Street Baptist Church, Oasis of Grace Church, Young County Appraisal District, the Orr Building including 14 different offices burglarized, Farmers Milling, Duncan’s Used Cars, Classic Cleaners, Quick Slick Lube, Air-Smart, the snow cone stand on Highway 16 South, Olney High School and Cub Cleaners.The police seized upon an unusual opportunity to capture the crooks when a cashier’s check and a job application crossed their paths earlier this week.The cashier’s check stolen from Oak Street Baptist turned up when Tommie McAnear cashed it at Stewart’s Food Store in Olney. The clerk, being suspicious of the check, asked to see McAnear’s driver’s license and recorded the information. The check came back for non-payment because it had been reported to the bank as stolen and was then turned over to Olney police.Olney Police Chief Randall Davis recognized the name from a job application he had received for a dispatcher position with his department. Naturally, he was very interested in interviewing the man.When Tommie McAnear showed up for the interview, the questions asked were not those typically asked of a prospective employee.Instead, he was interviewed by Graham Police Investigator Jeff Smith, Olney Police Sgt. Dwayne Jackson and Davis about the forgery to which he confessed and also named his brother as an accomplice.“These guys can’t be confused for criminal masterminds,” said Davis.He and Graham Chief Jim Nance were both pleased with the results of the cooperative effort between the two departments.“I’m real proud that these downtown burglaries are solved. They were beginning to be a thorn in my side. I think (the departments) did an excellent job on it,” said Nance.
I am glad they found the people, but can we be any dumber and easier to catch??? Oh and guess what they are working on our driveway maybe soon we will have a bigger one and won't it be awesome if Elliot can walk in the cement???

Ramblings for Wednesday

Hi Everyone!! Today was my day off. We went over to Poolville to pick up a baby bed for my mom's friend that is going to be a grandma again. The crib seemed pretty nice it just needs to be painted. Then we went and got our hair cuts. Heard lots of gossip but nobody I knew. Funny huh? We went and bought a new camera (finally we wont have to carry around the one with the tape on it.) It has rained, rained and rained some more. It has been good. We have really needed it. The night before (in Begin) Shawn Johnson finally won her a Gold Medal and I am not talking about flour!!!:)

We watch Shear Genius, I never thought I would like the reality shows. But I will say that this weeks show they really kicked off the wrong one. Daniel was 90 times better than Nicole. She had won the challenge before so she had immunity. So they couldn't kick her off. But that snow all in the girls hair that was not smart.

Well it is time to go to bed. GOOD NIGHT! Lisa OH AND GUESS WHAT!! MAY AND WALSH WON THERE 2ND GOLD MEDAL! CONGRATS GIRLS!!!!

I can't believe you are 17 today!! I still remember getting the call to tell me that my Aunt had my baby cousin. And next Monday you will start the last year of high school. Oh my how time flies!! Lisa

Tuesday Ramblings!

Goodmorning All! It is Tuesday morning and I haven't done alot since the last time I posted.

I do believe Alicia Sacramonne (sp) should have gotten Bronze in her Vaulting. She didn't fall on her butt like the one that recieved the Bronze metal! That is so wrong!

Then you have Nastia Lukin tie with the chinesse girl. And she wins silver go figure! Her routine looked pretty flawless to the other little girl that bobbled on her landing. But that is that! Oh and We can't forget MICHAEL PHELPS AND HIS 8 GOLD MEDALS! That is so cool!

It rained alot yesterday but it really hasn't rained much this morning. We slowly but surley will get our spare bedroom done and that scrapbook room. I can't wait until that is done. Renee' can scrap anywhere but I have to have a table to spread out and everthing. We started painting the desk for the scrapbook room.

Here is one of the drawers not a really good picture but you have the idea that it is brown. The big part of the desk is pretty big and we have got to move it out of the room outside under the carport and with it raining it isn't a smart thing. Which we will paint it pink. So maybe tomorrow on my day off Renee' and I can get it moved out there. We have to move the dresser in to the middle room and paint it. That is the dresser I got for free at a leftover garage sale.

Here is our house numbers, they were green but we are slowly but surley going to get all the trim and stuff around the house brown. Numbers look sharp huh? I guess I am done for today.

Good Morning!! Michael Phelps has 7 gold medals for the 2008 olympics. We should know by tonight if he is going to get to bring 8 gold medals home with him.

I was glad to see him be excited last night, I have noticed he doesn't have much emotion when he wins or when he is getting a medal. I think it is because he is concentrating on winning that he doesn't take the time to be excited. Actually I really don't know so it probably really isn't my place to analyze him huh?...

Well guess what Sonic had DDP this morning!! So I had my diet Dr.Pepper with vanilla and the day is complete!

Today is August 16Th the day Elvis died. I still remember my mama picking us up from day care early. She was so upset and crying, she says it was because her grandma had passed away not so far from then and it was just everything. Well I think it was Elvis! She really liked that man... I guess it was one of those "young girl" crushes..

NO DDP with Vanilla??

Goodmorning! Well I first have to say Oh my Gosh what is wrong with Sonic!! They didn't have my Diet Dr. Pepper this morning! So I can't fuction without my ddp with vanilla. UGH! These olympics are going to kick my butt. I was up till midnight last night watching the gymnastics. I just love gymnastics. Believe it or not I did gymnastics when I was a little girl. I like the uneven bars, I don't figure I did really good but I liked doing them. I love watching them now. Some of them do do it like it isn't hard at all.

Congrats to our Gold and silver Natsia and Shawn ya rock!!! Okay what we say about Michael Phelps and he is up to number 6? Two more runs for two more golds we will see if he makes it.

I seen on the internet this morning that Dave Coulier spoke out about Alanis Morissette. So appartley he is admiting that the "song" was about him. I just can't imagine Bull winkle and her together. Okay for each his own!!

Tuesday!

Hello everyone on this Tuesday morning! It was actually pretty nice this morning, it wasn't that terribly Texas hot like normal. I had a late night last night, I stayed up and watched the gymnastics. I will have to say the guys look at little odd doing the floor competitions but they are all are pretty good. I was so proud of our guys getting Bronze I loved how happy they all looked. I love the being an American! So hopefully the girls will do equally well or better. I need to get back to work. It is hard to be the only one in the office, my mind wonders and I have no one to talk to. UGH! But I love this job I do and I really do LOVE IT!

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! We finally got our ceiling fan and light put up in our living room. I have wanted one in there since we moved in at the end of May. I know it takes a while, and I finally found an electrician off of my free cycle page. His wife is one of the members of free cycle and I had posted a need for an electrician so she told me her husband was. Well she tells me his name and etc and I call him. Well he comes over and Lordy lordy I am old. I was his manager at McDonald's when he was 16 and he is now 27 maybe that was a while ago. I have been gone from that place for 8 years and I don't miss working in fast food at all. I have such a respect for the ones that do. Hungry people aren't friendly and some are hard to take care of. Okay now since we have got our electrical things taken care of. Now we have 2 more projects to take care of. We need to finish our middle bedroom, we need to refinish this dresser that we got for free at a garage sale last Saturday. I say it was at a garage sale, she gave all of her stuff away that didn't sale. So we got a dresser we will ( i say we, I am sure nee' will) paint the dresser. OUR SCRAPBOOK ROOM and our patio and we will be done with the stuff that we want to do to the house. Oh and I guess paint the outside of the house this winter. I guess we will never be done huh? Well I need to hush.

Rambling

When we moved in to the house, the Bells left a clock in the "going to be scrapbook room". Renee' finally got a chance to fix it up to go in my room. I finally got everything un packed and put up in my room. And I dont have any decorations to go in it. I guess I am not very decorated for the room. I mean I never cared about it before in my other house but now it is my house and I want it to look Nice.. Anyway here is the before and after of the clock. I guess you can say it is EW to New!! I am shutting up and be back soon. Lisa

Sorry about the previous color I didnt think about it hurting your eyes...:) Look at Nee's "ew to New" she made. I think she did awesome it matches the living room. We have a neat carpet and lamps to match..:)

Long time!

Hi It has been a along time since I have posted anything. Not really sure if anyone reads it. We have been in our new house for almost 3 weeks. We still haven't gotten everything unpacked. We have awesome furniture, first time we have ever had anything new. We finally got another phone jack put in the scrapbook room for the computer. Then my computer wouldnt come on, so it had to go to the drs. I was able to buy a older one at work so Nee' can look up jobs and stuff. I really cant wait until we get all of the stuff unpacked in the house so we can focus on the scrapbook room. Nee' has so many ideas for it. We are gettting our bathroom floor done next week, Can't wait..I think this is all the rambling I will do for now. Here is a pic of Elliot when we are both away at work. He makes his way in to the scrapbook room and sits on the desk until we come back home. So sweet but so sad.:)

Willie the cat

We had to put our 12 year old cat to sleep yesterday. He had been sick for a while he got to were he couldnt use the bathroom. He will be sorely missed at the house by myself, Renee' and Elliot. He use to put his paw in my plate when I ate supper. He use to eat the lettuce when we would make salads, Nee' would have to put the flowers in different places because he would want to eat them. When Willie was younger i really think he thought he was a bird. He would look out the window and chirp not meow but chirp like a bird. He also played fetch. Yes fetch! We will bury him in our parents back yard on Monday. He will be out there with our Shelbee she is still very missed. She loved crayons!! R.I.P Willie Man Acker!

Blah Blah Blah

Well I didn't get to post as much as I wanted to this week. Lord knows I am not that busy... Here is a pic of Elliot and Bizze. Bizze is one of our porch kittys. I dont know if it is a boy or a girl but we named it Bizze. You ask why?? That thing is so buzy all the time when Elliot comes out. Bizze and Elliot seem to get along okay.
Well here is Tres and his easter egg last Saturday. I sure wished I could have been there him, Nee' and Amycole. I miss all the fun with him since I work on Saturday when he comes over. That is okay though since I do have a job.
Well I guess I really dont know much more.. I will try to write more later..

Saturday lunch and Friday night.

Hi everyone! I am going to start blogging better at least a few times a week or something. Renee' has to go work a Easter egg hunt today. So she talked Amy in to going with her and they took Tres. Like to see how many eggs he will hunt? They all 3 came and ate lunch with me today. Nee' went and got us food at the North Forty( a little restuarant at PK). I had a frito chili pie and o rings they were GOOD! Renee' and Amycole had hamburgers and o rings they likes them and Tres ate a corn dog. He seemed to like his. He is saying quite abit of words, outside, momma, daddy, nee' (only when he wants her), bubba and lots of other stuff. Just cant think of them.

Nee' and myself went scrapbooking last night it was actually nice for a change. We havent done that in a long time. It was really nice. I got 4 pages done and nee' got 3. You know her she is very particular and it takes her a while. I need to hush...
